2012 Car Awards: Best Full Size Car

While some car makers are leaning away from full size cars to favor subcompact, compact, and mid-size cars, it is still nice to see some brands still producing full size cars. The best full size car to come out in 2012 is...

Cadillac XTS

While Buick discontinued its full size car, the Lucerne in 2011, Cadillac came out with the XTS to replace the STS and DTS as the companies full size car. The XTS has a great exterior profile. The car looks like it was built for luxury. The XTS is also available with a 3.6L V6 that produces 304 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque. The XTS has a 0 to 60 mph time of 6.7 seconds, which is good acceleration for a car that weighs around 4,000 lbs. The XTS is also available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. With good acceleration, styling, solid power from a V6 engine, and a luxurious interior, the Cadillac XTS is the best full size car to come out in 2012. I just hope there is going to be an XTS-V in the future that allows Cadillac to go up against its European rivals.

If you agree with my choice or think that another car that came out in 2012 deserves this award, please let me know in the comments below.
